FAQ

The questions we get asked most. If yours is not here, call us on 904-933-8005 — we would rather answer it properly than have you guess.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier the better, especially for Saturdays between March and June and again in October and November. Those dates go first. That said, it is always worth asking — we can often cover something at short notice.

Do you deliver, or do I collect?

We deliver, set up, and collect. Everything we rent is delivered; there is no customer pickup. Tents in particular are installed by our crew and are never left for a customer to put up.

How much is delivery?

$1.35 per mile, counted across the whole job. Our crew drives the route four times for every order — out to set up, back, out again to break down, and back — so a venue twenty miles away works out at $108.

What is the damage waiver?

A 10% charge on the rental items — not on delivery or setup — that covers accidental damage. It is added to quotes by default and you can remove it.

If you decline it and something is damaged or goes missing, you are responsible for the full replacement cost of the item. That is the trade, and we would rather be plain about it up front than surprise anyone afterwards.

What does it cost to pay by card?

Nothing extra — the price you are quoted already includes card processing. If you pay by Zelle instead, we take that cost back off as a discount, and your quote shows you both figures side by side so you can see exactly what the difference is.

Is sales tax included?

Tax is shown as its own line on your quote. Florida is 6% state plus a 1.5% Duval County surtax, so 7.5% in total.

What happens if it rains?

Tents are built for weather and a bit of rain is not usually a problem. High wind is a different matter, and for everyone’s safety we may need to change the setup or the timing. If bad weather is forecast, call us and we will work it out together rather than leaving you guessing on the day.

Can you set up in a park or a public venue?

Often, yes — but many parks and halls require a permit, proof of insurance, or their own approval before anyone can put up a tent. Tell us the venue when you ask for a quote and we will tell you what they usually want.

Do you have a showroom I can visit?

Our address is a working warehouse rather than a showroom, so please call before coming by. If there is a particular item you would like to see before booking, we are happy to arrange a time.

How do I actually book?

Send a quote request or call. We check the date, send you an itemised quote, and once you have approved it we send a payment link and put the date in the book. Nothing is charged before you have seen the quote.
